Cycling Without Age
Founded in 2018, Cycling Without Age Vancouver  is a registered charity and volunteer-powered organization that takes seniors and their friends and family for recreational bike rides on trishaws (three-wheeled bicycles). We  aim to reduce social isolation and increasing both mental and physical health.

We predominantly serve seniors between the ages of 70-100 who live in long-term care homes, experience social isolation, and face barriers to getting outside. Our passengers experience the joy and health benefits of a slow ride around the streets, parks, and bike lanes of Vancouver, engaging in conversations and storytelling, seeing old sights, building relationships, and feeling the wind in their hair again.

Volunteer Cancer Drivers Society
The Volunteer Cancer Drivers Society is a not-for-profit organization providing complimentary transportation for Greater Vancouver and Fraser Valley residents battling cancer.

Our mission is to serve cancer patients in need with compassionate and personalized transportation to care with community funding.

In 2024 we had 36,000 patient trips with over one million kilometres driven.

I also operate driver supply distribution, ensuring drivers have brochures, donation envelopes, mirror tags and PPE supplies.

Be a voice. Not an echo.

Platelet Donor
Platelets are the component of blood that helps with clotting. If an injury or blood loss occurs, platelets are released, and a person’s blood begins to clot to prevent excessive bleeding. In a healthy person, new platelets are continuously being produced and old platelets removed within the body. People who have low platelets or platelets that don't function properly (e.g. people receiving chemotherapy) need platelet transfusions as part of their treatment.

Medical Team Discussion
Volunteer Patient- UBC School of Medicine
Volunteer patients are members of the general public who make a unique and valuable contribution to the education and training of future doctors.

Volunteer patients participate “as themselves” to help medical students learn and practice interviewing, medical history-taking, and basic physical exams under the watchful guidance of a qualified faculty member.

Why? I am going to medical school for free!

If no one hates it, no one loves it.

Green Fields
Volunteers harvest and maintain the over 200 varieties of fruits and vegetables grown on the 24-hectare certified organic farm! We learn all aspects of sustainable farming, from weeding to planting and harvesting. The UBC Farm volunteer community plays an important role in carrying out the day-to-day activities needed to run the UBC Farm’s field operations.

My favourite activity is harvesting blueberries.
