• Visited the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in 2008
• Landed on an aircraft carrier (USS Kitty Hawk) in 2008.
• Had dinner aboard a nuclear submarine (USS Santa Fe) in 2009.
• Owned a
  Dalmatian (Jean-Claude) from 1991.
• Climbed Fuji-san seven times from 1993-1999.
• Survived a three-day winter survival course in the Canadian Rockies in 1985.
• Visited the southernmost point in Japan in 2009.
• Shared a bottle of 1947 port with my parents on their 60th anniversary in 2007.
• Flew to and from Narita International Airport via helicopter in 2011.
• Survived the Tohoku-Kanto Earthquake-Tsunami diaster in 2011.
